This award-winning film was commissioned to raise awareness of the Mukuru Promotion Centre in Nairobi, which ExxonMobil supports. The purpose was to encourage ExxonMobil employees worldwide to consider their behaviour toward their local environments and toward the people with whom they trade.
It is a powerful example of corporate social responsibility and how corporations can interact with, and make a difference to, a community. The centre helps 500,000 children living in the Nairobi slums, who survive without the bare essentials of a home, food, healthcare or education.
