Eventia

Eventia is the UK-based trade association representing organisations that create events: including business meetings; motivational experiences; training and communications activity; incentive travel programmes; celebratory functions and corporate hospitality.

Created in January 2006, following the merger between two complementary trade associations: the Corporate Events Association (CEA) and the Incentive Travel & Meetings Association (ITMA). Eventia's vision is to be the voice of the Events Industry; dedicated to increasing the quality, value and profile of events for members and all stakeholders.

Eventia’s Code of Practice is binding on its members and by signing it Indeprod undertake to:

• Operate all programmes and events in compliance with pertaining statutory, legal and regulatory requirements
• Administer client funds with complete financial probity and in accordance with all relevant legal requirements and appropriate best practices
• Adopt a high level of business ethics in dealings with clients, suppliers and other members
• Fulfil business contracts with integrity and accuracy
• Foster business relationships that are mutually beneficial and enable all parties to expand and improve their capabilities
• Observe client confidentiality
• Create a stimulating work environment for staff that encourages personal development through training and education
• Operate in a manner that upholds the aims of the Association
